Specialist business insurer, MS Amlin, approached mcm creative to design and bring to life a new multi-channel comms campaign, targeted at their external broker network and new customers.

the challenge

The core message was to position their new trading platform as being something digital and slick, but also intuitive and human – designed by MS Amlin experts.

the result

Informed by the client’s new go-to market proposition, we developed a superhero-themed digital marketing campaign, designed to be non-corporate and eye-catching for both brokers and customers.

The playful narrative was designed to position MS Amlin’s underwriters as ‘superhumans’ working in seamless collaboration with the new ‘superpowered’ trading platform.

Highlights of the campaign included a new website look and feel, a targeted email campaign for brokers from different business sectors, a series of online ads, digital banners and social posts, printed OOH posters and a supporting launch film.

Every piece of content was carefully mapped back to the wider business’ new digital proposition and promises, with playful graphics and bold visual stories, which were designed to raise eyebrows set the client apart from its competitors.

We devised tailored approaches to all digital campaign posts, ads and emails – catering for five distinct audiences, with varying needs and calls to action.

This was one of the most creative campaigns we’ve ever run. It was ambitious, it pushed our brand guidelines to their limits and the results were spectacular! The campaign continues to be talked about, throughout the business.
