We were asked to design a three day business conference and celebration for a software client who was bringing together two teams of employees from Scotland and America for a 20th anniversary event, to unite colleagues for the first time, and to immerse them in a review of the past 20 years and a look ahead to the business of the future.
Was clearly around how to create a ‘wow’ 3 day programme that would provide the perfect platform to not just simply celebrate the 20th anniversary, but also to bring all 350 colleagues together from the US and UK in one place for the first time. During the event we would need to immerse colleagues in 2 days of content reflecting on the past 20 years and look ahead to the next 20.
Alongside the work elements, we needed a separate team creating 3 evening events with different themes – 2 of them off-site at famous London landmarks
Underpinning the entire project was the demand from the client to Incorporate their passion for wellness and charities, and a need to develop a consistent comms platform and visual identify pre, during and post event
A bespoke programme of plenary sessions, evening events, charity activities and lots of ‘wow’ moments to create a memorable and unforgettable experience for colleagues during their time in London.
Our responsibility started with ensuring all 350 colleagues arrived safely in London, whether that be by plane or train and once in London, our client iwas passionate about wellness and the charities they support so each day started with wellness activities, including smoothie bikes, yoga and walks in the park.
The daytime programme contained rich content delivered by internal and external speakers using a variety of interactive and engaging techniques. Across the 3 evenings, we delivered bespoke high impact events – a 90’s themed networking reception, an evening at the Tower of London and a Black Tie Gala dinner at the Science Museum. Each evening had its own identity, theming and entertainment.
Creating a strong brand and bespoke look and feel amplified the vision for the event and ensured it created the impact and stand out we were asked to create for everything, from the pre event comms and event app, through to the staging and production, and onward cascade post event.
At the centre of this successful programme of events was the close collaboration and trust built with our client, ensuring at each stage of the project we were working together to create the perfect programme of events to mark this special occasion.
